The Operator Standard Pricing (2026): Pro vs Lifetime vs Founder, Explained

Not an official Andy Frisella, 75 Hard or Operator Standard website. Andy Frisella did not write or review this page.

What each tier costs, what it adds, where it is cheaper to pay, and how long it takes Lifetime to pay for itself.

By the Operator Standard Review editorial team · Last updated: · How we review

Short answer (checked October 30, 2026): Pro is $50/month or $500/year on the official website (operatorstandard.com), Lifetime is $2,500 once, and Founder is $10,000 once (official page). In the iPhone app the same Pro plan is $49.99/month or $549.99/year (App Store), so if you want annual, buying on the website saves $49.99.

How much does The Operator Standard cost?

Andy Frisella's Operator Standard has three tiers. Pro costs $50 a month or $500 a year on the official website. Lifetime is a $2,500 one-time payment with no renewals. Founder is a $10,000 one-time payment that adds an annual dinner, a monthly strategic call and a private feed. All three include the same core app.

Is it cheaper on the website or in the App Store?

For the annual plan, the website is cheaper: $500 a year versus $549.99 in the US App Store, a $49.99 difference. Monthly is essentially the same ($50 on the web, $49.99 in-app). Lifetime and Founder are not offered as App Store purchases, so those are website-only.

Plan Official website US App Store Difference
Pro monthly $50.00 $49.99 App Store $0.01 cheaper
Pro annual $500.00 $549.99 Website $49.99 cheaper
Lifetime $2,500 Not available Website only
Founder $10,000 Not available Website only

Why would the App Store price be higher?

The publisher has not explained the gap publicly. A common reason apps charge more in-app is the commission Apple keeps on subscriptions, but that is a general industry pattern, not something the publisher has confirmed for this app. What matters to you: if you pay yearly, the web checkout costs less.

There is one practical trade-off. App Store subscriptions are managed and cancelled inside your Apple ID settings; web subscriptions are managed through the publisher. Some people prefer Apple's billing for that convenience.

What do you get with Pro?

Pro includes the full core platform: ARCANE vision and goal setting, the daily morning briefing, streaks and strikes, a daily stats dashboard, weekly progress reports, crews and leaderboards, the community, the weekly podcast, first access to new features and merch, and lifetime locked pricing at your sign-up rate.

That last line is easy to miss. The official table lists "Lifetime locked pricing: lock in your price forever, even as the platform and price grow" as a Pro benefit (official page). The 75 HARD finishers' offer page repeats it: "Your $50/month rate is locked for life." If the price does rise later, early Pro subscribers would keep their rate for as long as they stay subscribed.

What does Lifetime add?

Lifetime replaces the subscription with a one-time $2,500 payment and adds seven perks: no renewals, priority access to future platform products, a lifetime member badge, early unlocks for new modules, exclusive discounts on future products, a monthly private livestream call, and elevated lifetime support.

The core app is identical to Pro, so you are paying for (a) never being billed again and (b) the extras. The monthly private livestream is the most tangible perk; the rest depend on future products the publisher has not detailed yet.

When does Lifetime pay for itself?

At official web prices, Lifetime ($2,500) equals five years of the $500 annual plan, or 50 months (about four years and two months) of the $50 monthly plan. If you are confident you will use the app for five or more years, Lifetime costs less; if not, annual Pro is cheaper.

If you stay subscribed for... Pro monthly ($50) Pro annual ($500) Lifetime
1 year $600 $500 $2,500
2 years $1,200 $1,000 $2,500
3 years $1,800 $1,500 $2,500
5 years $3,000 $2,500 $2,500
7 years $4,200 $3,500 $2,500

These are simple totals at today's prices, ignoring any future price lock or increases. Remember that a "lifetime" plan lasts as long as the product does, which no buyer can guarantee for any app.

What does Founder add?

Founder costs $10,000 once and includes everything in Lifetime plus seven Founder-only perks: an annual Founders Dinner, a Founders badge, a Founders-only private app feed, early access to major upgrades and future tech, visibility into upcoming hardware and software, a monthly strategic call, and priority lifetime support.

The extra $7,500 over Lifetime buys access rather than features. It is aimed at people who want to be "on the inside," in the sales page's words, and who value in-person and small-group access to the team (official page). For most readers, Founder is not a productivity decision.

Is there a free trial or discount?

The main sales page shows no free trial. The publisher's offer page for people who completed 75 HARD advertises a 7-day free trial that then continues at $50 a month unless cancelled. We found no public coupon codes as of October 30, 2026, and the App Store lists no trial.

Be wary of sites promising "Operator Standard promo codes." We have not found any working public code, and we will never publish one we have not verified. The best documented saving is simply paying annually on the website ($500 instead of $549.99 in-app, or instead of $600 for twelve monthly payments).

Which plan should you choose?

Start with monthly Pro if you are unsure, because it costs $50 and you can cancel. Switch to annual Pro on the website once you know you will keep using it, saving $100 a year versus monthly. Consider Lifetime only if you expect to use it five-plus years. Founder is for access, not features.

  1. Testing it out: Pro monthly ($50). Lowest commitment.
  2. Committed for a year: Pro annual on the website ($500). Saves $100 vs monthly and $49.99 vs Apple's annual.
  3. Committed for five-plus years: Lifetime ($2,500), if you also value the livestream and early unlocks.
  4. Want direct access to the team: Founder ($10,000).

How does the price compare with similar apps?

The Operator Standard is priced like a coaching product, not a habit tracker. Habitica's in-app subscription is $4.99 a month, Streaks is $5.99 once, the 75 HARD app is $4.99 a month, and Sunsama is $17 to $22 a month. Only Motion's in-app plan ($44.99 a month) is in the same range.

App Price (checked Oct 30, 2026) Source
The Operator Standard Pro $50/mo or $500/yr Official
75 HARD app $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr App Store
Habitica Free; $4.99/mo or $47.99/yr App Store
Streaks $5.99 one-time App Store
Structured Free; Pro lifetime $99.99 App Store
Sunsama $17/mo yearly or $22 monthly Sunsama
Motion $44.99/mo or $294.99/yr in-app App Store

The fair comparison is with a human accountability coach or a mastermind, which the app partly replaces. See alternatives and is it worth it?.
