What is Andy Frisella's Operator Standard app?
The Operator Standard is a paid daily execution app created by Andy Frisella and published by 44Seven Media, LLC. Its AI engine, ARCANE, turns your long-term vision into five critical tasks each day. Finish all five to win the day; miss one and you earn a strike your crew can see. Pro costs $50 a month.
The official page calls it "the first daily operating system for your life" and lists vision and goal setting, a morning briefing, streaks and strikes, a daily stats dashboard, weekly progress reports, crews and leaderboards, a community, and a weekly podcast in every plan (official page, checked October 30, 2026).
It is available on the US App Store (4.9 stars from 802 ratings, version 1.42.0) and on Google Play. See the full features list.
Did Andy Frisella create The Operator Standard?
Yes. The official sales page is written in his voice: it opens "My name is Andy Frisella" and says that in 2022 he decided to build "the first permanent Human Behavioral Operating System," adding, "It took three years." The App Store lists 44Seven Media, LLC as the publisher, the same publisher as the 75 Hard app.
Quotes are from the official Operator Standard page, which redirects to andyfrisella.com, checked October 30, 2026. That page also says he created 75 HARD ("I also created 75 HARD ... the mental toughness program"). This guide quotes his public page; he did not write or review it.
What does Andy Frisella say The Operator Standard is for?
In his words on the sales page, most people fail not because they don't know what to do but because "they lack the ability to adhere to a plan." He calls execution "a skill problem," and says the app is built to fix it, describing it as "Not an app. Not a challenge. Not a program. Not a habit tracker."
He also frames it as "Phase One" of a longer plan. The page lists three phases: the operating system (live now), education, and an ecosystem of "hardware, software, infrastructure" (official page). Phases two and three are plans, not shipped features, so judge the app on what it does today.
How does the app work day to day?
You start with a conversational interview in which ARCANE AI asks what you want, then breaks it into phases, goals and daily tasks. Each morning a briefing lists that day's five critical tasks, synced to your calendar. You complete them, journal, and ARCANE reads your entries to sharpen the next day's plan.
That four-step flow (define your vision, wake up to your tasks, execute and win the day, "become someone different") is how the official page presents it. Around that loop sit streaks and strikes, XP leaderboards, small accountability groups called crews, weekly reports, and Topics, the community area. How much does Andy Frisella's Operator Standard cost?
On the official website, Pro is $50 a month or $500 a year, Lifetime is $2,500 once, and Founder is $10,000 once. In the US App Store, Pro is $49.99 a month or $549.99 a year, so the yearly plan is $49.99 cheaper on the website. The main sales page advertises no free trial.

The full breakdown, including Lifetime break-even math, is on the pricing page. The publisher runs a separate offer for people who finished 75 HARD with a 7-day free trial; details are on our 75 Hard comparison.
How is it different from Andy Frisella's 75 Hard?
75 Hard is a fixed 75-day challenge with the same five rules for everyone and a restart if you miss one. The Operator Standard has no end date, builds tasks from your own goals with ARCANE AI, and adds crews and lessons. The 75 Hard app costs $4.99 a month; The Operator Standard costs $50.
Both are Andy Frisella programs from the same publisher. Many people use 75 Hard as a test of follow-through and The Operator Standard as the long-term system afterward. See the full Operator Standard vs 75 Hard comparison and all of Andy Frisella's apps compared.
Who is The Operator Standard for?
It suits people who already have goals but break promises to themselves, respond to scoreboards and social pressure, and will open the app every morning and night. Business owners and 75 Hard finishers are the clearest fit. It is a poor fit if you only want a habit checklist or need a desktop planner.
The App Store rates it 18+, and the tone is deliberately confrontational: strikes and leaderboards are meant to be uncomfortable. If you are on a tight budget, start with the free Power List method or one of the cheaper alternatives. Our worth-it breakdown has the cost-per-day math.
Frequently asked questions
Is The Operator Standard Andy Frisella's app?
Yes. Andy Frisella presents it as his own on the official sales page, which is written in the first person and says he decided to build it in 2022. The App Store and Google Play list 44Seven Media, LLC as the publisher, the same company that publishes the 75 Hard and Power List apps.
What is the official Operator Standard website?
The official address is operatorstandard.com, which redirects to a page on andyfrisella.com. This site, Operator Standard Review, is not the official website; it is a guide run by a member of The Operator Standard team, and its product links are tracked.
When did The Operator Standard come out?
The current US App Store listing shows a release date of December 7, 2025, and version 1.42.0, titled "Goals, rebuilt," on October 26, 2026. Andy Frisella's sales page says the decision to build it came in 2022 and that it took three years.
Is ARCANE AI the same thing as The Operator Standard?
No. ARCANE is the AI engine inside The Operator Standard app. The official page calls it "the intelligence layer that runs the entire system." You do not buy it separately; every plan includes ARCANE goal setting and the daily briefing.
Does The Operator Standard include the MFCEO Project podcast?
Yes. The official page says new episodes of The MFCEO Project, Andy Frisella's business podcast, are built into the app, and lists a weekly Operator Standard podcast in every plan, including Pro.
