Life Reset App Review (2026): Cost, Hard Mode and Whether It's Worth It

Life Reset: 66 Day Habit turns a quiz into a 66-day self-improvement plan and runs it like a game. Here's what it costs, what it does and what recent reviewers say, from its own listings.

We work on The Operator Standard, a competing discipline app, so weigh our view accordingly. Life Reset isn't ours. Every fact here comes from Life Reset's own App Store and Google Play listings, checked November 2, 2026, or from the third-party sources named at the bottom.

What is the Life Reset app?

Life Reset: 66 Day Habit, formerly Rise, is a gamified self-improvement app from Savvy Tech Limited. An onboarding quiz builds a 66-day plan, then you complete daily quests to earn XP, level up and keep streaks. Optional Hard Mode adds penalties for missed days, and you can add friends and climb Season ranks.

How much does Life Reset cost?

Life Reset's US App Store purchases start at $12.99. AppPricer lists monthly plans at $12.99 and $17.99 and annual plans from $28.99 to $59.99, with older Rise-branded plans at $12.99 and $28.99. On Google Play, its in-app purchases run $1.99 to $99.99 per item. Offers vary, so check your paywall.

Annual $28.99 to $59.99 about $0.08-$0.16
Lifetime Not listed n/a

Apple's page shows the prices but not which are monthly or yearly; the billing periods above come from AppPricer (checked November 1, 2026). One reviewer describes the price dropping from $60 to $25 a year after saying no, and another says they accepted a 70%-off offer but were charged $60 for the year.

Is Life Reset free?

No. The download is free, but the App Store listing says Life Reset requires a subscription to unlock all features, and many recent reviewers say they hit the paywall right after a long setup quiz. AppPricer lists a 7-day US trial on the annual plans. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

What features does Life Reset have?

The App Store listing describes daily quests, XP and leveling, streaks, a Hard Mode with penalties for missed days, motivational cards, widgets and customizable goals, plus mini tools: an AI calorie tracker, focus timer, book summaries, meditation and a screen blocker. Apple Health is optional. Recent updates added friends near your Season rank.

From Life Reset's version history: version 6.5.3 (September 12, 2026) added discovering friends near your Season rank and tier frames on profiles; earlier releases fixed friend requests and friend nudge notifications and brought back the option to extend your program past 66 days.

What do Life Reset users like and dislike?

Fans say the game format, XP and anime-style hero make daily habits feel rewarding, and several credit it with less screen time and better routines. Critics cite a long quiz before an unannounced paywall, crashes right after paying, lost streaks or XP, AI-generated art and text, and support that did not reply.

We tallied the 100 most recent written US App Store reviews on November 2, 2026 (December 8, 2025 to October 30, 2026): 52 were four or five stars, 4 were three stars and 44 were one or two stars. Three one-star reviews from October 24, 2026 alone describe the app crashing right after payment, so check that the latest version is stable before you subscribe.

Is Life Reset worth it?

Life Reset is worth it if you take an annual offer near $28.99 to $34.99 and want a set 66-day plan with game mechanics, a screen blocker and friends. It's weaker if you want to set your own pace, already track food elsewhere, or need a human to hold you to it.

If you want accountability from real people rather than XP, The Operator Standard, where we work, puts you in a crew that sees whether you won each day. It has no end date and costs more, $49.99 a month in the App Store. Our Life Reset vs The Operator Standard page shows where each is stronger.

What are the alternatives to Life Reset?

DAWG is the closest match, with more fitness and food tracking but a higher $19.99 monthly price. Habitica is free, with an optional $4.99 subscription and parties for friends. The 75 Hard app costs $4.99 a month for a fixed challenge. The Operator Standard costs more but adds goal-based planning and crews.
