- Where do these facts come from?
The short answer (checked November 1, 2026): The Operator Standard is Andy Frisella's paid daily execution app for iPhone and Android, published by 44Seven Media, LLC. Its AI engine, ARCANE, turns your goals into five critical tasks every morning. Finish all five and you win the day; miss one and you take a strike your crew can see. Pro is $50 a month or $500 a year on the official website, and $49.99 a month or $549.99 a year in the US App Store.
What is Andy Frisella's Operator Standard?
The Operator Standard is a subscription app that Andy Frisella presents as his own: a "daily operating system for your life." You tell its AI, ARCANE, what you want, it builds phased goals, and each morning it hands you five critical tasks. Streaks, strikes, crews, leaderboards, weekly reports and new MFCEO Project episodes sit around that loop.
The official sales page is written in Andy Frisella's first-person voice. It says he decided in 2022 to build "the first permanent Human Behavioral Operating System" and that "it took three years" (official page, checked November 1, 2026). It describes the product as "not an app, not a challenge, not a program, not a habit tracker," and the Pro tier page calls it "a full-life execution system" that is "not a mastermind, not a coaching group, not a motivation app" (Pro tier page).
Three plain facts help more than the slogans:
- Publisher: 44Seven Media, LLC, the same company that publishes the 75 Hard app (App Store).
- Platforms: iPhone (iOS 15.6 or later), Apple-silicon Macs, Apple Vision and Android. There is no browser version.
- Rating: 4.9 out of 5 from 802 ratings on the US App Store, and 4.8 from 219 reviews on Google Play, both checked November 1, 2026. The App Store age rating is 18+.
The sales page also says more than 15,000 "Operators" use it. That is the publisher's own figure; we have no separate data to confirm it.
When did The Operator Standard launch?
The app was in members' hands well before its public launch. The US App Store shows a December 2025 release and steady updates from March 2026 onward, and attendee recaps published in late June 2026 describe a launch event in the St. Louis area. The biggest product changes shipped after that, so older write-ups are out of date.
A quick timeline, from the App Store version history (all dates 2026 unless noted):
| When | What shipped |
|---|---|
| December 2025 | First listing on the App Store and Google Play |
| April 28 (1.19.0) | Crew Audio Rooms: live voice rooms inside a crew |
| May 22 (1.22.0) | Communities renamed "Topics"; anyone can create a Topic |
| June 17 (1.25.0) | ARCANE "fully revamped": an opening session to define your vision and targets, then a daily briefing of critical tasks |
| July 20 (1.31.0) | Livestreams from more community leaders; "Life Score" replaces total XP on profiles |
| July 30 (1.32.0) | Light Mode, flexible goal checkpoints, editable briefing tasks |
| August 12 (1.33.0) | Morning briefing redesigned as a visual dashboard; support tickets filed from ARCANE; in-app Partner Program page |
| August 21 to 29 (1.34.0, 1.35.0) | Crew Health score, crew day status (Not Started, In Progress, Won), leader accountability warnings |
| September 3 (1.36.0) | ARCANE "remembers much more of what you tell it" across briefings, reports and goals |
| October 23 (1.41.0) | Briefings more reliably fill all five tasks |
| October 26 (1.42.0) | "Goals, rebuilt": up to three active goals, faster goal setup, a Plan Tomorrow button, editable ARCANE suggestion cards |
Source: version history on the US App Store, checked November 1, 2026. If you read a review written before October 26, its description of goal setup no longer matches the app.
How does The Operator Standard work day to day?
You set up to three active goals, each tagged with a life area. ARCANE asks a few questions and drafts a plan. Each morning a briefing lists five critical tasks, synced to your calendar. You do them, journal at night, and ARCANE uses what you wrote to adjust tomorrow. Win all five and the streak grows.
The signup page sums up the first day this way: checkout, download the app, "ARCANE interviews you tonight," and "tomorrow at 0500 your first briefing is waiting" (signup page). Since version 1.42.0 the loop works like this:
- Set a goal in a few screens. Pick an area, choose the goal and the days you will work on it, answer ARCANE's questions, and review the plan. Earlier versions did this through a long chat.
- Plan tomorrow. From the morning brief, the Plan Tomorrow button or ARCANE, you settle yesterday's leftovers, add your own tasks, and ARCANE fills only the slots that are left. You can edit or swap any suggestion.
- Read the brief. It is now written after you plan, so it reflects the day you actually chose.
- Execute and score. Five done is a won day. Your crew sees who has started, who is in progress and who has won.
- Review the week. A Weekly Progress Report arrives at 12:30 your local time.
That flow is taken from the 1.42.0 release notes on the App Store. It is the five-task Power List method Andy Frisella has taught for years, with an AI deciding the tasks and a crew watching the score.
What is ARCANE, and what does it actually do?
ARCANE is the AI engine inside The Operator Standard. The official page expands the name as "Autonomous Rewiring Core for Agency Navigation & Execution." It interviews you about what you want, reverse-engineers that into phases, checkpoints and daily actions, writes your morning briefing, and adjusts from your journal and completed tasks. It is included in every plan.
In practice, ARCANE does five jobs:
- Planning. The Pro tier page says it helps you "define the version of yourself you are trying to become, then reverse engineers that vision into structured phases, measurable checkpoints, and daily actions."
- Filling your day. It suggests critical tasks for the empty slots on your list. Since 1.42.0, suggestions arrive as cards you can edit before you accept them.
- Memory. Since 1.36.0 it keeps much more of what you tell it and uses that across briefings, weekly reports and goals.
- Housekeeping. You can ask it to rename a repeating task, move it to another goal, resume a paused goal or set a reminder, and it can open a support ticket for you.
- Coaching on content. MFCEO Project episodes include an option to open an ARCANE chat that links the episode to your own goals.
What it is not: a general-purpose chatbot you buy separately, or a desktop planner. One App Store reviewer who cancelled in June 2026 said the AI runs on Google's models and that its features did not justify $50 for them; the publisher has not said which models it uses. For a deeper look, read ARCANE AI explained and our ARCANE guide.
What features are included?
Every tier includes the full system: ARCANE goal setting, the morning briefing, streaks and strikes, crews, leaderboards, weekly progress reports, the Topics community, livestreams and new MFCEO Project episodes. The signup page states that "every tier unlocks the full system." The higher tiers add perks such as private calls and an annual dinner, not different app features.
| Feature | What it does | Where it is confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Morning briefing | Visual dashboard of the day's five critical tasks and a "Today's Strategy" headline | App Store 1.33.0 and 1.42.0 notes |
| Streaks and strikes | Won days extend a streak; a missed task earns a strike | Signup page, App Store listing |
| Crews | Small accountability groups with chat, audio rooms, day status and a Crew Health score | App Store 1.19.0, 1.34.0, 1.35.0 |
| Leaderboards and Life Score | Competitive rankings; Life Score replaced total XP on profiles | Pro tier page, App Store 1.31.0 |
| Weekly Progress Report | A weekly summary delivered at 12:30 local time | Pro tier page, App Store 1.42.0 |

Prices from the official Operator Standard page, checked October 30, 2026. Tracked links from a member of The Operator Standard team. Disclosure.
The daily figure is $50 times 12 months divided by 365 days. Yearly on the website is $500, about $1.37 a day. The signup page also says "your founding rate locks and never goes up," so the price you join at is the price you keep. Full detail, including Lifetime break-even math, is on the pricing page.
Who is The Operator Standard for, and who should skip it?
It suits people who already know what they want but keep breaking promises to themselves, who respond to scoreboards and peer pressure, and who will open the app every morning and night. Business owners and 75 Hard finishers fit best. Skip it if you want a calm habit tracker, need a desktop planner, or will not pay $50 a month.
A good fit if you:
- Have one to three clear goals and a gap between planning and doing.
- Finished 75 Hard and lost your structure afterward.
- Like the Power List method and want something to pick the tasks and keep score.
- Want a crew that can see whether you showed up today.
A poor fit if you:
- Mostly need a to-do list or a calendar. Cheaper tools do that well; see alternatives.
- Dislike blunt, confrontational coaching. One January 2026 App Store reviewer said six weeks of the structure "took all my drive out," while still praising what it taught them about themselves.
- Plan on a laptop. There is no web app.
- Are under 18. The App Store rates it 18+.

What are the pros and cons?
The strengths are a simple five-task loop, an AI that decides the tasks for you, real social accountability through crews, and fast, visible development. The weaknesses are the price, a phone-only design, a tone some people find draining, and reported reliability problems such as unexpected logouts on Android. Most complaints are about value and polish, not the method.
Pros
- One clear daily target: five tasks, won or lost, with no partial credit.
- ARCANE removes the morning decision about what to work on.
- Crews make your follow-through visible to people you know.
- Shipped updates almost every one to two weeks through 2026, per the App Store history.
- MFCEO Project episodes and livestreams are included in every plan.
Cons
- $50 a month is many times the cost of a habit tracker.
- No browser or Windows version for longer planning sessions.
- Some users find the pressure demotivating rather than energizing.
- A September 2026 Google Play review reported being logged out after each use and slow support replies.
- Goal setup changed substantially on October 26, so older tutorials may confuse new members.
How does it compare with 75 Hard, the Power List app and the Arete Syndicate?
All three come from Andy Frisella's world but do different jobs. 75 Hard is a fixed 75-day challenge with the same rules for everyone. The Power List app is a free, manual five-task list. The Arete Syndicate is a mastermind community he founded with Ed Mylett. The Operator Standard is the open-ended daily system that runs on your own goals.
| The Operator Standard | 75 Hard | The Power List app | Arete Syndicate | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | AI-planned daily execution app with crews | Fixed 75-day mental toughness challenge | Simple daily list of five critical tasks | Mastermind community for entrepreneurs |
| Length | Open-ended | 75 days, restart if you miss | Open-ended | Membership |
| Who picks your tasks | ARCANE, from your goals, and you | The same five rules for everyone | You | Not a task app |
| Price | $50/mo or $500/yr on the website | App $4.99/mo | Free; optional $4.99 or $49.99 unlock | See the official site |
| Best for | Ongoing follow-through on personal goals | Proving you can keep a hard standard | Trying the method for free | Business growth and peer access |

The official Operator Standard FAQ also says you can run 75 Hard inside the app, but that it is "built to support your entire life long-term, not 75 days of it."

How do you get started without wasting the first month?
Set one goal, not three, on day one. Let ARCANE fill only the slots you cannot fill yourself. Join or start a crew in the first week, because the crew is where the pressure comes from. Read the Weekly Progress Report every week, and judge the app on how many days you won.
A simple 30-day plan:
- Night one: finish the goal setup and plan tomorrow before bed. Keep tasks small enough to finish.
- Week one: aim to win five of seven days. Edit any ARCANE task that is vague before you accept it.
- Week two: join a crew with active members. The Crew Health score shows which crews are active.
- Weeks three and four: add a second goal only if you are winning most days on the first.
- Day 30: count your won days against the month before. If the number did not move, the app is not working for you, and that is useful to know.
For the daily method itself, see how to win the day and how to stay consistent.
Frequently asked questions
Is The Operator Standard really Andy Frisella's app?
Yes. The official sales page is written in his voice and says he decided to build it in 2022. The App Store and Google Play list 44Seven Media, LLC as the publisher, the same company behind the 75 Hard app. This guide is not an official Andy Frisella website.
Is The Operator Standard the same as the Arete Syndicate?
No. The Arete Syndicate is a mastermind community that Andy Frisella founded with Ed Mylett. The Operator Standard is a separate app built around a daily five-task plan, ARCANE AI and crews. You can use the app without belonging to the Syndicate.
Can I run 75 Hard inside The Operator Standard?
The official FAQ says yes: you can run 75 Hard inside it if you want to. It also says the app is meant for your whole life long-term rather than 75 days. The standalone 75 Hard app still exists and costs $4.99 a month in the US App Store.
How many tasks does ARCANE give you each day?
Five critical tasks. Since version 1.42.0, you can add your own tasks first and ARCANE fills only the slots that remain. You can edit or swap any suggestion before you save the day.
Does The Operator Standard work on a computer?
Only on Apple-silicon Macs, which can run the iPhone app. There is no browser version and no Windows app, so most people plan on their phone.
Who made the ARCANE AI?
The publisher calls ARCANE the intelligence layer that runs the entire system, but it has not said publicly which underlying AI models power it. One App Store reviewer stated it is based on Google's models; we could not confirm that.
Is the price locked once you join?
The signup page says "your founding rate locks and never goes up." The official page also urges buyers to lock in their price before it goes up, so the publisher is signalling that future prices may be higher.
